Write at CPL: Non-Chronological Structures in Memoir

Join other aspiring authors this fall for Write at CPL , a series of workshops presented by our partners at Story Studio . This workshop will focus on Non-Chronological Structures in Memoir and is led by David Stuart MacLean. Chronology is great but not all of our stories are chronological. Associative structure (a term we will define in the workshop) is usually found in poetry, but some writers have been adapting its use to memoir. Maggie Nelson and Carmen Maria Machado are two examples of writers doing this kind of work. We'll play around with these kinds of structures and what kind of freed.
